Michael Wilson provides directional leadership to all ministry functions of Shelter KC at both the Men's and Women's Centers. He brings decades of management and leadership experience to the organization after working at PepsiCo for 22 years and Netsmart Technologies, a leader in technology focusing on behavioral health. He is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and serves as a volunteer with CASA in Kansas City and a board member for ZOE, an orphan-empowerment organization leading orphans and vulnerable children away from generational poverty and into self-sufficiency. With a passion for helping those trapped in cycles of poverty, he is excited to support Shelter KC because it presents Christ as the way to true freedom. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and college-aged son.
