Operation Family Feast - Adopt a Box!
Operation Family Feast began in 2012 as a church partnership between Shelter KC, Community Praise Worship Church, and other area churches. This annual event encourages families living in Kansas City's urban core. This year, 200+ boxes will go to families in the Vineyard neighborhood, Urban Christian Academy and Faith Bible College.
Each food box contains the groceries needed to prepare a complete Thanksgiving meal, including turkey, pumpkin pie and fresh produce. We need 200 of each item on this list (400 green beans).
To adopt a box, download the grocery list below. All food donations must be delivered to Shelter KC no later than Sunday, Nov. 17.
