A place to heal.

A path to hope.

A place to heal.

A path to hope.

At Shelter KC’s Women’s Center, women experiencing homelessness discover more than shelter — they find safety, support, and a fresh start.

Through recovery programs, life coaching, and compassionate care, women are empowered to heal from trauma, overcome addiction, and rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Trauma-Informed Care

With the support of dedicated mentors, case managers, and life coaches, the Women’s Center prioritizes growth, healing, and recovery. Together, by the grace and power of God, we achieve more than we ever could alone.

Sisters of Recovery Program

Through life skills classes, one-on-one coaching, and spiritual guidance, women gain the tools needed for recovery, self-reliance, and long-term success.

Opportunities for Healing and Hope

Women come to us from extreme circumstances such as human trafficking, incarceration, and substance abuse, all seeking relief from suffering. It is our joy to serve each woman, treating her with dignity as she heals and takes steps toward freedom.
